ABOUT THE FESTIVAL: The Nelson's Creek MTB Festival promises three days of outdoor fun for the whole family. Riders: Choose from a number activities that best suit your fitness level and ability... Participate in the Challenge, do a night ride, pit your technical skills against fellow riders in the DualX or simply enjoy a variety of routes on offer. Each day's trail will start and finish at the beautiful Nelson's Wine Estate. This allows you the opportunity to tackle a different breathtakingly scenic route each day to ensure that you enjoy the full diversity of the Boland. Day visitors are welcome to enter any distance as a daily fun ride. PLUS: JP van Zyl from Recycles will offer a bike wash and maintenance service to keep your bikes in top condition all weekend long. Runners: Who needs MTB skills to enjoy the Festival when you can keep the pace with a trail run on Sunday! Spectators: Enjoy the MTB Festival without breaking a sweat! Support your friends and family along the route, go wine tasting, visit farm stalls and enjoy the beautiful scenery! And don't forget: Kids under 10 camp for free and there will be plenty to keep them busy, including pony rides, a trampoline, quad bikes, swings, etc! Kids' supervision is also available on Saturday and Sunday so you can enjoy the rides. Come for a day or stay the whole weekend.
